We support more than 530 schools and host over 1000 web sites. The County Council’s website Hantsweb, is the most visited local authority website in the country. IT supports over 60,000 end user devices. Over 30 per cent of IT income is generated through external business activity, including a range of shared service activities such as the Hampshire Public Services Network including all the Hampshire boroughs, districts, unitary councils, Isle of Wight Council, Fire & Rescue and others.  We have a number of public-to-public partnerships with other public service organisations. Hampshire IT also supports a range of transformation programmes including our Customer Access Strategy, our mobile and flexible working programme and underpins much of our ongoing work to transform the way the County Council continues to deliver quality services amid the economic challenge of reduced levels of Government funding.
